Aline's Fine CoutureIf you’d like to learn how to sew – this is where to go.  Aline will teach you the A to Z’s of the sewing world and develop in you the  artistic flair and love for this never-dying trade. 



 The course curriculum is as follows:


This class is for students who know very little about sewing and want to learn how to sew.  With this course, students will learn all the fundamentals of the sewing industry including: the World of fabrics, all about notions, the tools of the trade as well as How to read a commercial pattern and a general knowledge of measurements. Students will construct a garment and apply the construction and finishing seams learned in class.

Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine but it is not mandatory.

Levels I and II

This class is for students who understand the basics of sewing and would like to learn more about custom fittings and professional finishing. The students will learn about collars, pockets, sleeves, cuffs, hems and bound-buttonholes. Project involves construction of a garment to be discussed at first class.
